Starting in Luxor, a visit to the Valley of the Kings is a must-see. This is where the tomb of the famous Pharaoh Tutankhamun was discovered, and where other tombs of the Pharaohs and nobles of the New Kingdom are located. The tombs are adorned with intricate carvings and hieroglyphics, and it is a true marvel to behold. Another iconic location in Luxor is the Temple of KarnAC, considered one of the most important religious sites in ancient Egypt. The temple is a complex of smaller temples and chapels, each adorned with stunning carvings and hieroglyphics.

 

Aswan is another city that offers a unique experience. A visit to the Temple of Sobek in Kom Ombo City is a must-see. Dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek, the temple is unique for its double design, having two identical temples side by side for Sobek and Haroeris. Another must-see attraction in Aswan is the Temple of Horus in Edfu city, which is considered to be one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. The temple is adorned with intricate carvings and hieroglyphics depicting the god Horus.

 

Another highlight is a visit to the Temple of Hatshepsut, located in the Western Bank of Luxor, it was built by the female pharaoh Hatshepsut, one of the most powerful women in ancient history. Lastly, a visit to The Colossi of Memnon, the two massive statues of the pharaoh Amenhotep III, which is located on the west bank of the Nile River in Luxor. These statues are considered to be one of the most impressive examples of ancient Egyptian art and architecture.

Program

DAY 1 - Luxor & East Mainland

Reception from the train station / visits to the eastern mainland (Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple). Accommodation, then lunch is an open buffet on the boat. Take a free tour of Luxor or the sound and light of Karnak Temple (optional), then return to the boat for dinner at an open buffet. An oriental or Nubian entertainment party / overnight in Luxor.

DAY 2 - Luxor West mainland

Breakfast in an open buffet / visit the western mainland (Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut, Colossi of Memnon). Open buffet lunch with sailing to Edfu / enjoy crossing the Esna lock. High Tee at 5 pm on the sundeck during sailing / dinner open buffet. Galabia Party and then overnight in Edfu.

DAY 3 - Edfu - Kom Ombo

Breakfast is an open buffet / Visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu with stagecoaches / Sailing to the city of Kom Ombo. Open buffet lunch / Hi-Tee at 5:00 PM on the Sundeck while sailing / Visit Kom Ombo Temple. Sailing to Aswan / open buffet dinner / overnight in Aswan.

DAY 4 - Aswan

Breakfast in an open buffet / visit the Aswan reservoir, the High Dam, Philae Temple. Then Nubian village (optional) / lunch in an open buffet. A free tour of Aswan market / return to the boat for dinner open buffet / overnight in Aswan.

DAY 5 - Aswan

Breakfast in an open buffet / Cabin delivery / Free tour until train time.

Prices include

  • Price per person in double or triple cabin.
  • 70$ per person in the single cabin will be added to the price per person in the double cabin.
  • Three meals open buffet (breakfast-lunch-dinner) with tea time (tea cake) while sailing.
  • Arrival reception from the train station.
  • Tourist places mentioned in the program only.
